Respect

Play egg toss, visit an art gallery or be a “detective” in your neighbourhood! Discover these and other great ways to teach your kids to be respectful.

Caught up in their own needs and wants, children often don’t realize that their attitudes and actions may be demeaning to others. The ideas in this lesson will help your kids learn to respect God and His creation, and to be considerate of other people’s feelings and property. By teaching some basic manners, you’ll also help them begin to understand the sometimes subtle cues that show respect for parents, peers and those in authority.
