Kindness

Spread some “kindness germs,” play Charades and reward kids with light sticks for being a shining example of kindness

When push comes to shove – sometimes literally – responding in kindness is not usually a child’s first impulse. With the ideas in this lesson, you’ll be ready to teach your kids an important life skill: the art of conciliation. Using jars filled with water and dirt, you’ll help kids remember the importance of being kind – even when they’re “all shook up.” Then, you’ll equip them to solve problems God’s way by role-playing polite responses. Learning to be considerate becomes a fun-filled adventure, too, with the “random acts of kindness” challenge, plus a host of other activities.
